Lemon Bay Public Conference

Saturday, March 27, 2004

Tringali Centre (3460 S. McCall Road) in Englewood

Are you concerned with the health of Lemon Bay and its watershed?

So are we. Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program in cooperation with Lemon Bay Conservancy, Lemon Bay League, Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center, Charlotte Harbor Aquatic Preserves, Sarasota County, Charlotte County, Southwest Florida Water Management District and others will hold a free Lemon Bay Public Conference on Saturday, March 27 at the Tringali Centre – and we want to know what you think.

The conference will address issues of concern that the public identified by completing a survey. Those who responded to this survey helped plan a conference that will addresses your concerns. We anticipate that three or four topics will be addressed in sessions that will include brief presentations from experts, facilitated small group discussions and verbal reports at the end of each session. Final consensus and summaries reached at this conference will be funneled to proper committees and government officials with follow up attention!
