The EPA is calling for applications to fund South Florida Program projects for the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary Water Quality Protection Program, Southeast Florida Coral Reef Initiative, Caloosahatchee Estuary, Indian River Lagoon, Florida Bay and Biscayne Bay.

The EPA Region 4 anticipates awarding approximately $1,500,000 to $2,000,000 in FY 2019 to fund eight to twelve proposals with funding ranging from $35,000 – up to a maximum of $275,000 per project. The activities to be funded under this announcement will be linked to the EPA’s strategic plan consistent with the EPA’s current priorities for improving aquatic ecosystems, which focus on improving water quality and aquatic ecosystems. Applicants must explain in their proposal how their project will further these current priorities.
