CHNEP Alligator Creek Cleanup

CHNEP hosted an Alligator Creek Cleanup on Saturday, January 26th. Thank you to all the volunteers that joined us! Every year, CHNEP volunteers go out to try to pick up plastic, monofilament, and styrofoam in and along waterways to reduce marine debris that endangers wildlife and pollutes the regional rivers leading to the Gulf of Mexico. Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center provided an amazing naturalist guide and CHNEP scientists were ready to answer any environmental questions.
