Native Landscaping Workshop

CHNEP hosted a fun Native Landscaping Workshop! Between Rain Barrels and Reef Balls, WETPLAN and endemic species, we'll go through easy, effective ways YOU can promote stewardship in your backyard.

We had a great time today at the CHNEP Native Landscaping Workshop! Thank you again to all of our wonderful speakers and attendees, it was interesting to learn about both new and ongoing programs created to help homeowners implement clean water practices in their own backyards! Among the topics discussed: Reef Balls, Living Seawalls, Rain Barrels, native species planting, pond maintenance, and WETPLAN trainings for neighborhoods and ponds. We especially enjoyed hearing from everyone that attended about all of your ideas and experiences, and interacting with experts one-on-one following the presentations.
